Open call for Maths and Science teachers to be part of Scientix teachers panel

Brussels, October 19, 2010
In December 2009, always in accordance with its major aim to foster Maths, Science and Technology education, European Schoolnet (EUN) started managing Scientix, on behalf of the European Commission's DG Research. Scientix is the new web-based community for science education in Europe, which collects teaching materials and research reports from European science education projects financed by the European Union under the 6th and 7th Framework Programmes for Research and Technological Development (DG Research), the Lifelong Learning Programme (DG Education and Culture) and various national initiatives.

In that frame, teachers play an important role as they stand in the foreground of the education scene through their in-class experience, but also are in the midfield between the policy makers/EC funded projects and the pupils.

EUN is thus looking for Maths and Science teachers that wish to join the Scientix teacher panel. We are looking for one teacher from each of the following countries of the EU-27 :
  • United Kingdom
  • the Netherlands
