Open call for Maths and Science teachers to be part of SPICE and Scientix teachers panels

Brussels, February 5, 2010
In December 2009, always in accordance with its major aim to foster Maths, Science and Technology education, European Schoolnet (EUN) started working on two new projects: DG Research’s Scientix and the LLP project SPICE from DG Education and Culture.

In that frame, teachers play an important role as they stand in the foreground of the education scene through their in-class experience, but also are in the midfield between the policy makers/EC funded projects and the pupils.

EUN is thus looking for Maths and Science teachers from countries among the EU-27 that wish to join:
  • both the SPICE and Scientix teachers panel (Group 1)
  • the Scientix teachers panel only (Group 2)
Complete information on the two panels can be found in the following documents: We are looking for 16 teachers for Group 1 and 11 for Group 2.

Additional notes:
  • Deadline to apply: 26th of February 2010
  • Teachers will be informed if they have been selected during the 1st week of March via email
